Hong Kong – Sunset Cruise plus Dinner at the Jumbo Floating Restaurant

Tonight in Hong Kong we’re setting out on a harbor cruise to read as the city skyline lights up. Whew! Hong Kong is home to one of the best and most iconic skylines in the world. It’s a great way to see Hong Kong. It’s pretty awesome so far, drinks too. Cheers to everybody. Good times. Good times. During the day it’s a little bit foggy, but at night it’s really beautiful. Anybody who comes to Hong Kong and doesn’t check out the skyline at night is really missing out because when all the buildings are lit up, and colorful, and just beaming, this is the best time to see Hong Kong.

Now that I’ve seen the Hong Kong skyline light up at night, it’s time for dinner on a floating boat at Jumbo. Let’s go. Wow. Alright, we’re about to kick off an eight course dinner. I’m excited. Sauteed shrimp with green pepper. Mmmm. The food is delicious. And the highlight also was the dinner at the Jumbo floating restaurant. Thoroughly recommend it. Lots of experience, met great people, and terrific views. Just one last stop to finish off the evening.

From the lights of the city skyline to dinner on a floating restaurant, and now this view from up above, I think it’s safe to say it’s been a wonderful night here in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour

This post we’re hoping on the big bus to check out Hong Kong. One of the stops I’m most excited for is Aberdeen, where I get to check out a little fishing village. It’s such an interesting juxtaposition to see all these houseboats surrounded by these massive skyscrapers. Repulse Bay is the next stop. Let’s see if anyone’s out swimming. Repulse Bay got its name from the HMS Repulse battleship that used to protect this area. Now it’s the most popular swimming bay on Hong Kong Island. We’re just arriving at Man Mo Temple. This place looks beautiful.

These elaborate gold plated chairs were to carry the gods Man and Mo. Next stop is Stanley Market. I can’t wait to look around. Stanley Market is one of the best places to come shopping in Hong Kong. There are so many different kinds of shops, and it’s really easy to navigate. I think I’m actually gonna buy this for my nephew. Not only do I get to ride the bus, I can also take a peak tram up to Victoria’s Peak. Wow, this tram is steep. I feel like I’m on a roller coaster.

The view from up here is unreal. You get to see Victoria Harbor, all the skyscrapers. Even on a slightly foggy day like today the views are still incredible. This has been such a fun way to explore the city. I love Hong Kong.
