Today, we are heading out of London to visit Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Warwick Castle. It is incredible how well-preserved the staterooms of this castle are. Whoa! They’ve got some knights, let’s go check out their armor.

This is pretty neat. En garde! They’ve done a really good job of taking you back in time here, and providing a little something for everyone. There’s families, and friends from all over the world who’ve come to experience the medieval times.

We’ve arrived at our next stop Stratford-upon-Avon. It’s beautiful here. The town dates back over 800 years, and sits on the River Avon. The man himself, William Shakespeare. Shakespeare is the most renowned playwright in history. He’s known all over the world, and here we are standing in his garden, his birthplace. It’s surreal.

Known as the city of dreaming spires, Oxford was founded in the 8th century, and is home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world, the University of Oxford. Christchurch College was established in 1546. And you may recognize parts of the college as it was used in scenes of Harry Potter. This has been spectacular. Absorbing the prestige of Oxford, and going back in time, both, at Warwick Castle, and Stratford-upon-Avon. I’ve had truly a lovely day, and now, we head back to London.
